The creative endeavours of Jaime Pritchard’s work inform her unique aesthetic, influenced by her observations in nature & travel, moments of unexpected beauty, the relationships between imperfection & delicateness, transience & permanence.

Educated as a graphic designer and printmaker Jaime explores the materiality of paper, mixed media & textiles, embodying these materials with her practices in printmaking, ink drawing, painting, natural dyes & experimental installation.

Jaime Pritchard lives with her partner, musician & recording engineer Sean Ballenden, in their suburban cottage & creative studio in the Maitland area in the Hunter Valley NSW, Australia.

“My creative journey leads me to be a closer observer of nature and her lessons for living.”

“I enjoy creating one-off individual pieces made with these materials, that have a story behind them and are functional. I want to honour the ritual of everyday actions in my process, and make things can be passed down the line, or be upcycled and exist again in a different way.”
