In this piece, Threads To Her Roots, natural materials of paper, timber, cotton, ink, charcoal and acrylic, are used, allowing the honesty of their raw state to be revealed. This work aims to present the contrasting nature of fragility, strength, light and depth, creating a sense of stillness, hovering and being… bringing awareness to a moment of mindfulness… not coming, nor going.
